Meta Grand Race (MGR) is an exciting blockchain game that seamlessly binds automobile enthusiasts, race heads, video game players, the crypto community, NFT-preneurs, and guilds to play, own, and trade in-game assets. MMORPG gaming concepts such as free-to-play (F2P), play-and-earn (P2E), and player-vs-player (PVP).
MGR aims to create an exciting, enjoyable, and immersive gaming experience, but more importantly, to build a stable and sustainable gamefi ecosystem.
The game runs on a single token system that performs different functions such as in-game utility, rewards, speculative, and governance.
The idea behind giving out free cars is for intending players to have a feel of the awesomeness and enjoyability of the game.
Players can choose any of the available free/common cars in the marketplace if they can’t afford to buy the muscle or supercars and start racing with them. The free-to-play model allows players to enjoy a first-hand glimpse of the racing gameplay with the possibility of earning without having to buy NFT cars in the marketplace.
These free cars are known as common-base cars, and they all have the same traits and performance index. Players can not have a free and a paid car (Muscle or Super Car) at the same time. If a player starts with a free car and after some time, decides to buy, rent, or become a scholar, the player will forfeit ownership of the free car. A player’s account can only have one free/common-based car.
Players racing with the free cars can choose to upgrade their car’s stats by purchasing any of the add-ons in the marketplace. This will increase the performance index of the car and will give players winning chances in the verses challenge where free cars are allowed to challenge other free cars for prize earnings.
Players will be required to change the parts of the common cars on a regular basis, just as they do with the muscle and supercars.Performance index ratings for all free cars start from a base level of 2.5%. Free/common cars cannot be sold or put up for rent. Free car players will have limited access to available gameplay modes.
Common-based car players cannot earn tokens when they participate in the daily race challenge. Players can purchase any car they want from the marketplace.The available cars in the marketplace are in two categories; Muscle Cars and Super Cars These cars come with varying capacities, traits/abilities, performance index ratings, and price tags.
The price tags on each car are tied to all the aforementioned attributes. New cars sold in the marketplace are assembled and produced by game developers. Muscle and supercar players can sell and rent out their assets.
Players can increase their car’s performance index ratings by participating in races, winning races, and also upgrading their cars and the same goes for players with a free car (common car). Gameplay modes will be user-controlled.
Meta MGRnd Race players and stakeholders will experience a complete racing value chain flow which involves racers choosing and buying cars in the dealership market. Racers transfer and sell their cars.
Racers upgrade their cars to increase their stats. Racers have to maintain and service their cars periodically. Depreciation of parts' lifetime. Players and investors rent out their cars or assets. Investors buy race circuits, workshops, and billboards.

The cars with the highest performance and pure engineering for racetracks. The chances of winning the race is high with these cars. Eg. Ferrari, Lamborghini
The cars with raw power and and excess torque, specifically built for straights. Eg. Mustang GT

5 game modes
In this mode, a player will race with 19 other online players making a total of 20 racers on the racing grid.
Players that own either muscle cars or and supercars are the ones that can earn MGR tokens.
The first 3 winners in each race will earn a based MGR tokens.
However, amount of tokens earned per race will change at intervals as a smart contract will be assigned to determined the rewards issued to winners in each race based on the numbers active of players in the ecosystem and amount of tokens in the incentive pool.

Free players are permitted to partake in the Daily Race Challenge without restriction to the number of times they can race. However, when they come either 1st, 2nd or 3rd they won’t earn tokens. They will only earn ranking and performance index points when they come either 1st, 2nd or 3rd.
A paid player’s car can only participate in 5 Daily Race Challenge.
Players racing with the paid and free cars earn performance index and ranking points when they participate and win races in the daily race challenge and other race-mode challenges.
Versus race challenge mode is in FOUR categories;
This is another game mode that free/common-based car players are allowed to participate in and but this time have the opportunity to earn.
In the common-based cars versus challenge, players racing with the free cars can challenge other free car owners in a race.
Before a challenge is activated, a player is required to stake 1 MGR tokens as Challenge Fee.
Player will then be matched with 19 other players who have equally staked 1 MGR tokens.
This makes the total staked tokens to be 20.
The game keeps 10% of the staked MGR tokens which is 2 in a MGR Token Vault as Platform Fee.
The remaining 18 MGR tokens will be shared amongst the first 10 players.
The First 10 winners will be rewarded with the staked MGR tokens.

In the Muscle cars versus challenge, players racing with the muscle cars can challenge other muscle car owners in a race.
Before a challenge is activated, a player is required to stake 5 MGR tokens as Challenge Fee.
Player will then be matched with 19 other players who have equally staked 5 MGR tokens.
This makes the total staked tokens to be 100.
The game keeps 10% of the staked MGR tokens which is 10 in a MGR Token Vault as Platform Fee.
The remaining 90 MGR tokens will be shared amongst the first 10 players.
The First 10 winners will be rewarded with the staked MGR tokens.

In the supercars versus challenge, players racing with the supercars can challenge other supercar owners in a race.
Before a challenge is activated, a player is required to stake 8 MGR tokens as Challenge Fee.
Player will then be matched with 19 other players who have equally staked 5 MGR tokens.
This makes the total staked tokens to be 160.
The game keeps 10% of the staked MGR tokens which is 16 in a MGR Token Vault as Platform Fee.
The remaining 144 MGR tokens will be shared amongst the first 10 players.
The First 10 winners will be rewarded with the staked MGR tokens.

*Players can only challenge other players in the same car category. This means a common-based car player can only challenge a common-based car player, so is the same for muscle and supercars.
*Staking means players must have the required token in their in-game wallet to activate a challenge, It can also be referred to as CHALLENGE FEE.
*10% of staked tokens are kept in a vault.
*Common-based and Paid Car players will earn ranking and performance index points in the versus mode, however, free car players' ranking points won’t qualify them for the season’s cup challenge.
*Free cars can’t participate in the season's cup challenge.
This mode allows car (Free, muscle and super) owners learn how to race and perfect their driving skills.
Mode 1: Players practice by racing other online players for as long as they want.
Mode 2: Players practice by racing with bots and can choose the modes in which they want to practice.
Top 100 players (Muscle and Super car players only) based on ranking points earned in the previous season will be selected for the season championship cup.
As stated earlier, the accumulaetd ranking points earned from the daily race challenge, versus challenge and other racing events is what allows a player to qualify for the season championship cup.
The Season series cup will have 2 races monthly, making it a 12 months season challenge. The races will be hosted in all the 24 race circuits.
The first 20 players with the highest season points will earn a prize reward at the end of the season.
Rewards will be distributed according to the position of each player.
Rewards and distribution mechanics will be determined at the beginning of every season.
The season point system is different from the everyday race ranking system.
The season points system starts from zero (0) at the beginning of every season championship cup.
Season’s cup logo will be displayed in racers profile when they earn the top price.

The platform will from time to time host tournaments where players can participate in. The mechanics of each tournament will be communicated to players and guild owners before it commences.
Tournament can take different twists and turns as there are no predefined rules until when the platform considers it ready to have one. Special Tournaments will occasionally be organized that will include free players to allow for increased participation and involvement of the whole racing community.
More so, guilds can also organize tournaments, broadcast to other players and set rules and mechanics of the event.
Replacement of parts over a period of time is a key stability mechanism in the ecosystem.
The depreciation timeline varies for different components which will decrease the performance of the car after a certain number of races played.
This will not affect the performance of any car during races but after clocking the depreciation time, players are restricted from getting into the races until the completely depreciated part is replaced.
Cars can be upgraded to improve the overall stats. There are various upgradable components players can buy in the marketplace. However, these components expire after usage in a number of races.
